Experience

I started my recruiting career with two major engineering companies, learning “in the trenches” how to align company and candidate goals. From there, I joined an executive search firm, and over the course of a decade in this field, honed my ability to shape recruitment strategies around the specific needs of both clients and candidates, refining the subtle art of successful partnerships. 

With a comprehensive understanding of both agency and in-house talent acquisition under my belt, in 1991 I founded my own talent acquisition firm, Mulhearn Associates, quickly developing a reputation for crafting bespoke, people-centric solutions. Being an entrepreneur has given me the flexibility to respond to client demand, like taking on a two-year contract role with a major consulting firm to deepen my understanding of corporate dynamics, and acting as a coach and mentor to both organizations and candidates. It’s been incredibly rewarding to guide my clients in tailoring their approach to meet their unique needs, and has reinforced my belief in the power of human connection in the recruitment process that goes beyond traditional metrics.
